Tencel (lyocell) pile — a plant-based fibre with a liquid, silk-like sheen that shifts as you walk past it. Soft underfoot, naturally cool, and more colour-stable than viscose. It is hand-tufted, not machine-made — the pile is punched into a cotton backing by hand and then hand-carved to bring the pattern into relief.

Vacuum without a beater bar. Blot spills immediately — never rub. Professional dry-clean only. Rotate the rug every few months so it wears evenly, and use a rug pad — it stops slipping and takes the crush out of foot traffic.
