100% wool pile — dense, resilient and naturally flame-retardant. Wool springs back from furniture dents and hides everyday soil, which is why it lasts decades in a living room. It is hand-tufted, not machine-made — the pile is punched into a cotton backing by hand and then hand-carved to bring the pattern into relief.
